Yukino gazed at her mother. As a child, she couldn't understand she couldn't understand why Papa had left. It wasn't until, as the years of her childhood dwindled, she could hear the servants and foreign dignitaries whispering among the halls. Her birth had been a time for great rejoice, but it also signaled great sorrow for her family. Though she was a Hanyou, she was not born with the marks of the firstborn child of her line. Yukino was not papa's first child. The symbol of the house of the moon did not adorn her forehead, the delicate stripes of her family did not sit upon her cheeks. She had heard stories of papa demanding a search of the kingdom for his lost child. But as The weeks turn to months, and the months to years no child was ever found. So papa left. He took the search upon himself, vowing he would not return until his firstborn was discovered and brought to the castle.

The crescent circlet that adorned her head was the only thing papa ever gave to her. Set with sapphires and Forged from his fang by the great demon blacksmith Totosai, it was nothing so much as a reminder of what she would never have. Her papa.

And so they waited. A mother and a child hoping desperately for the man in their life to return to them.

But as time passed, and the child grew older, only one thought ever seem to ring true about the man who had helped create her.

"I hate you Papa."

This is a drawing of Yukino. A hanyou Born to sesshoumaru and kagome. The story is called Time heals nothing. I intend to upload it once I have completed it. The story is from Yukino's point of view. It travels along her childhood Until she reaches adulthood and goes to search for her missing father. So far the story is told exclusively from her point of view.
