Description:
Many of you authors have a moment in your stories where Kagome has to return to her duty as the Shikon Miko. Even if she is pregnant or in love, she has to stop Naraku and complete the Shikon no Tama.

Another oddity, is that many of the stories I've read put her in a blue kimono to match her blue eyes. I want to say that in the manga she has blue eyes, but I don't think that's true. In the anime she has brown.

Why is it you choose to make her have blue eyes?

Kagome belongs to Rumiko Takahashi.

well because a lot of people are more loyal to the manga. Because the manga art was drawn by rumiko unlike the anime. >m< At least that's what my mom says and she's been a fan of the manga/anime since they came out.

I have seen the same thing, the anime varies from the manga. I personally like to make a difference between Kagome and Kikyou. Kagome is supposed to be unique among humans, thus I like to put her with blue eyes, which is super rare among Japanese women.... Like in the movie Memoires of a Geisha...

Because the majority of the pictures that Rumiko Takahashi drew and colored have Kagome with either bright blue eyes or grey blue eyes. They are only brown in the anime. Kikyo's are the same. I know this because I have the official Inuyasha artbook by Takahashi, and I have read all the manga twice. I understand I was confused by it myself before I read the manga, and looked at the original art.
