Prompt 4: A welcoming hand – Years had passed and Sesshomaru was once again in the stage of taking care of an infant Kagome. It always was…complicated. Kagome was an intuitive and energetic child and he, sometimes, didn’t know what to do with the bundle of energy that was her. Also, her powers always manifested by this moment making her a fearful girl and the target of many youkai.
“Sesshomaru?” her tiny voice said after a loud thunder broke through the night’s silence.
“Kagome,” he acknowledged as he glanced at her, sitting on the futon rubbing her eyes.
“Hold my hand?” she asked.
“Hn,” he answered.
