Naraku's Returns

I don't own Inuyasha and make no money off this story.
Summary: As the battle in the Feudal Era ended, Togaou, Kagome, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha are thrown into the modern world. Confused, not sure what to do, they try to make their way in a world that isn't their own and understand this strange new place. Then, as was heralded by the event before their wedding, they realize Naraku isn't gone. Now they have to fight his evil in a whole different way by doing so according to the modern world.
AN-If you haven't read the first part of this, you'll be lost. Nothing will make sense. I strongly suggest you read Supreme Conquest first.

Prologue
With a groan, Togaou shifted around on the unforgiving cement step he was seated on. As he sipped his drink, he looked around and gave a deep sigh. This—it wasn't what he envisioned his life being and he was still trying to cope. It wasn't easy, but he was managing despite how hard it was and how all of them were now thrown into a world they didn't know or understand well. Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and himself were managing better than the other two because they had at least visited, but the rest were still plenty off kilter.
The battle with Naraku was over, at least the one they had fought from the time they knew of his existence. It ended with he, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru ending him after Kagome summoned all the jewels in his body and melding them into one then vanishing the jewel. As he was disintegrating and they were celebrating the end of the evil, time seemed to shimmer and stand still. When Naraku finally vanished there was something which felt like an earthquake, a big one, but the ground itself didn't shake. Instead, he, his two sons, Karasshu, Sango and Miroku were thrown through the well, something close as the battle was in Edo, and into Kagome's time. After climbing out of the well and starting to figure out what in the hell happened, the well vanished, completely. As there was no other way to traverse back to the Feudal Era, they were stuck. With what they learned about Hojo, four of them assumed this was meant to end Naraku completely, but couldn't be sure.
Since then they all had to adjust to plenty. The Higurashi house wasn't big enough for all of them, so they had to come up with something. Not to mention with this many extra people it was putting a financial strain on the family. Unlike in their time, there was no way for any of them to go out and get a job to help because of various reasons, such as identification and needed papers. Which left them all in a pickle. There was so much to work out and get used to while preparing for what was probably a huge battle coming.
Despite all of them being so off-kilter, they had managed to help, somewhat. Like always, he and Sesshomaru had plenty of money on them as it was needed for whatever. Kagome pointed out thatwhat they were carrying was worth plenty in the modern age to collectors. What they had finally done was to start selling them off a little at a time so as not to flood the market and draw suspicion. They managed to get the funds they needed to help plenty and give them extra. It was a great relief to Mrs. Higurashi and the old priest, something he could easily tell.
While settling in, the old priest had them starting to help around the shrine to give them not only something to do so they didn't go nuts from boredom, but to aid him in so much. As they had 'authentic costumes', it improved the tourist draw to the shrine, which aided in the money situation. It also gave all of them something to occupy their time. Kagome, of course, was back in school, in her final year. While it was an assist, it didn't fix all the problems.
A solution which helped the rest came along a couple months or so after they were dropped into Kagome's time with no hope of returning yet. One night on the television they were showing a documentary on traditional Japanese fighting. They all watched it and snorted at what was taught as it was 'modernized' in some ways, not the way it was done in the Feudal Era. However, the idea came about opening such a school, the kind they showed, with him and Sesshomaru taking on teaching the old techniques. It was something they could do and would bring in the money they needed to help support so much. Thankfully, there was a piece of property next to the shrine up for sale. It had been a tourist trap of some kind which failed. It had on it not only buildings needed to open such a 'school', but several large storage barns. It was the barns they were interested in mostly as they wanted to convert them into living quarters for all of them.
Though it took a couple of months to raise the funds through the selling of coins, they bought it. The school opened first to bring in extra money. Thankfully, it was successful due to its association with the shrine and they had plenty of students. Now they were working on converting the barns to living space for all of them. While the barns would look the same on the outside as they already did, they were gutting the interiors of them and modernizing everything. He, Sesshomaru and Kagome would live in one while the other three would live in the other. It wasn't the best, but it was far better than all of them being crowded into the small house. It was making all of them nuts, including Mrs. Higurashi.
After another sip of his drink, Togaou shut his eyes. Nothing was ready yet, but it was finally getting there. Then they had to worry about what he was sure was the coming battle. As this time was so different than what they knew, he wasn't sure how they would handle it. Modern weapons might come into play. Those—their swords were no match for the firepower the guns had. Even the youkai would end up in real trouble if confronted with modern weapons. They just didn't know what to do, honestly. It was something they would have to wait to present itself before they could formulate a plan of attack and dealwith it from there. And he hated waiting. It was a sure bet waiting was just giving Hojo time to channel whatever Naraku wanted from him and planning what to do. No, not good, not good at all.
