Kagome sighed softly as she gazed out the window, watching as the trees passed by quickly making them look more like a green blur than trees belonging to the thick forest they were currently driving through. When they started heading into the area she was surprised, she didn't think or hear of anyone living out here. It seemed to go on forever and she wasn't sure if they would ever reach their destination.

Getting tired of staring out the window she redirected her gaze to the man who was driving her and studied him carefully, something felt different about this man, but she wasn't sure what it was. He wore a black suit, that fitted his form perfectly. He was tall and pale, his eyes a bright blue color, and his face was emotionless. She couldn't see his hair color, as it was hidden under a hat.

The driver turned his head to look at her. “We are here miss.” He spoke softly and motioned in the direction they were driving.

Kagome nodded and looked in the direction motioned, her eyes widened as she looked upon the large house as they got closer. It was not what was expecting to see in the middle of no where. It looked like one of those mansions she would see from foreign countries, she wasn't sure which one she'd place it as, but it was beautiful. 'if the outside is this beautiful I wonder how the inside is?' she wondered.

As she waited for the driver to stop the car, she thought back on the reason she was here in the first place. It was for a job, she had been searching for a steady job since she graduated high school. Because of her adventures in the sengoku period she wasn't able to go to college. She was glad she was even able to finish high school with her record of sick days.

She smiled softly as she thought of her past adventures. It had been 5 years since she had returned, since she stopped being the time traveling miko and started being regular old Kagome. Modern girl with no demons to fight. She frowned slightly at that thought, she missed them. Well, not the crazy blood thirsty demons, but the ones she had come to know. Her friends, heck she even missed the ones who were just allies. She often wondered about them, why they weren't here in her time. She couldn't find them, no matter how much she searched or how hard she trained her miko abilities.

She jumped slightly when the door opened and watched as the driver stood to the side his lips moving upward in what she was pretty sure was a smirk. 'so he can show emotion' she thought as she nodded her thanks to him and began to get out. He hadn't shown any emotion toward her since he picked her up, he didn't say anything more than needed either 'which made for a very long and very boring trip'.

She noted that he already had her bags and motioned for her to begin walking toward the house, she tried to grab for her bags but he moved them away and shook his head. “Don't worry about this Miss, I've got it.” He stated and then began walking toward the house. Kagome frowned, but followed.

As she fell into step behind him she decided to try and start a conversation with him once more “So Mr. driver – can you tell me anything about the children? I'd like to know at least something about them since I'm going to be their nanny and know nothing yet”

The male kept quiet as they continued on, she was wondering if he was going to answer and was just about to ask again when they reached the final step in front of the door. He turned and met her gaze and she noticed his blue eyes sparkling and that he was smirking. “Please miss, address me as Willie. As for the children, you'll meet them soon enough” with that said, he opened the door and motioned her to get inside.

She nodded in thanks “Okay willie, if you say so. And please feel free to just call me Kagome. After all we will be working together from now on.”

Willie inclined his head “We might be working together from now on” he stated, smirk still in place as he closed the door after her.

Kagome's brow rose “Might be?” she questioned “Don't you work here too?”

He nodded “I do. I am the families butler, but Didn't the agency tell you? My lord likes to do a test run with nannies first, after all, not many can keep up with his pu-erm, children”

Kagome frowned, no the agency hadn't told her that. All that they had told her is there was finally a family that would be interested in her and that if she accepted the offer the driver would be there to pick her up at the assigned date. They told her she would be a live in nanny. She also wondered why he called the man lord, she had heard of them being called 'masters' by their workers before, but never lord.

Her frown seemed to be a good enough answer for him for he just shrugged and offed to remove her cardigan. She let him and then watched as he removed his hat. Her eyes widened slightly as she took in his hair. It was a blue, so bright that it almost matched his eyes and not only that he had a mohawk. It was down, but she was sure when it was up it would stand pretty tall. The mohawk was pure white in color, the tips being the same color as the sides of his hair.

She heard him cough and felt her face heat up, she hadn't been expecting a professional butler to have a hairstyle or color like that and had apparently been staring. His smirk grew and his eyes danced with amusement “Well then, let's leave your bags here and go to meet our lord. Once you get his approval you will meet his children”. With that said, he turned and began walking behind him, curious on who this 'lord' was.

The continued walking for some time, the halls were long and she noted that the house was as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. With all the expensive decorations it was hard to imagine that children lived in this house too.

Finally they stopped in front of a door, Willie knocked on the door softly “My lord, the nanny has arrived” he stated, it was a few moments of silence before someone from within the room gave them permission to enter. Willie opened the door and motioned Kagome to go inside.

Stepping cautiously inside, Kagome glanced around the room quickly before her gaze rested on the desk in the middle and the person sitting behind it. Her eyes widened as she met the male's golden gaze “S-Sesshoumaru”

A/N: I know. I'm suppose to be working on finishing my other stories, completing them. But I have no motivation to work on them at the moment and am still getting into the swing of writing again. This story is going to be something fun to write. I got the idea after watching the TV show “the nanny”. I'm not sure how long the story will be or how often it'll be updated-it takes me forever to type things up now since my bird decided to try and take apart my keyboard and successfully removed some keys/made some keys get stuck*
