My Little Goddess by SweetKit

The Creation

For those of you who read Sess/Kag stuff on other websites, this is a recreate of my story 'My Little Goddess' and has had many alterations done. I wrote the original a long time ago and was never edited, so when I reread it, I cringed quite a bit.

Anywho, I hope you guys like the new edited version of my story. Please Read and Review so I know what you think.

I do not own Inuyasha or Co.

Enjoy!

A slender woman paced up and down a hall in front of a set of doors. There was a worried expression etched on her face that was framed with long jet black hair. Her eyes were chocolate, holding the core of her worry there. Her kimono was several layers, the top being pink.

One of the doors cracked open, a man's head poking out before walking towards her, "Amaterasu." When she turned to him, he nearly ducked behind the door at her look, "She is finished."

The man had shoulder length black hair that was held back loosely. His eyes were a deep purple and his skin more tan. He was wearing blue hakamas with a white haori and a darker blue sash around his hips.

She started stomping towards him, "Its about time!"

"Calm down." He raised his hands in defense, "How long do you think it takes to create life?"

She crossed her arms, a foot tapping, "Well, Izanagi?"

"It worked. She is a real beauty." He opened the door fully to let her in, "She was hard to make, but she will be worth it. She is what you asked for her to be and more."

Amaterasu walked past him and into the room, eyeing a small raised crib in the middle of the room, "She is... youkai right?"

"As you requested." He closed his eyes and nodded.

"What kind?" When he didn't answer, she walked over to the crib and looked down at the child, "Oh, an inuyoukai. You truly went all out."

"Well, the four points are controlled by inus and I wouldn't want her with just any family." He also looked down at the pup, "She will be the pup of the Eastern Inus."

Amaterasu ran a finger softly around the pup's cubby face and smiled. She had a small patch of black hair on top of her head. Her skin was fair with one black stripe on each cheek that ended at a silver point. A long tail curl around her and kept her warm.

Izanagi watched as Amaterasu examined his latest work, "Now." She looked at him startled for a moment, clearly lost in thought, "There is one thing I didn't do."

"Oh, kami, Izanagi." She looked frantic, "What did you forget?"

When she went to continue, Izanagi sighed and covered her mouth with a slim hand, "I am the god of life and creation, please do not doubt me." When she calmed down, he continued, "I didn't name her. I thought you would like to do the honor."

She giggled, clearly thrilled with the task, but heard a whimper and then a full out cry. They both looked over the edge of the crib and watched as blue eyes watered up and the pup wailed.

Amaterasu gently picked the pup up and bounced her lightly against her chest, "Kagome."

Bright sapphire orbs looked to her, as if knowing her name and the tears slowed. Her cries became soft whimpers as she examined the one holding her before her eyes closed, back to sleep.

"With these events that are happening, we know that Kagome's life will be harder." Amaterasu whispered, placing the pup back in the crib, "Will she find happiness?"

"I hope that she will find a mate." Izanagi nodded, "She will find happiness through love and I will grant her mate the kami's light so he will not be damned to hell." They watched the pup take a few breaths before Izanagi continued, "Are you ready?"

"I guess." Her breath hitched, "I was already growing quite attached."

"I know." He put an arm around the sun goddess, "But, she will be fine. The East will take care of the pup."

"Why did you choose the East anyway, Izanagi?" Amaterasu asked.

"The Southern and Northern lords are not mated. The Western lord is currently with a human. Kagome is a full inuyoukai." His brow rose, "I have put a lot of thought into this."

"I shall call upon Kishi-Mojin." She let her shoulders slump, "I'll be back."

Izanagi watched as she left the room, and looked back down at the pup that would be like a true daughter to him. He had spent months on this creation that was not typical made by him. He would do anything for Amaterasu and so when she asked him to make this girl, he didn't even hesitate.

"Izanagi." He straightened up and looked at the door to see the sun goddess come through with another woman.

"Ah, Izanagi, my friend." The other woman bowed to him and smiled, "What do you request for me?"

The woman was more curvy than Amaterasu's slim frame, but she was quite beautiful as well. Her hair was a dark brown that almost looked black and short for a woman. Her eyes were a light brown and her skin was tan as well.

"I wish to send this pup to the Eastern Lady's womb." She came over and cooed at the pup when she saw her.

"Hmmm." She picked the child up and examined her, "She will have a rather hard time delivering her for her being so powerful."

"Do you have someone else in mind?" Amaterasu asked, stepping forward.

"No." Kishi shook her head and began to rock the pup in her arms, "Are you ready for her to go now or at a later time?"

"Now." Both god and goddess replied, looking at each other.

Kishi nodded, placing the pup back in the crib. She placed two fingers on each side of Kagome's head and began to chant. A blinding light flashed in the room and when it faded, the place where Kagome was, was now empty.

"Will that be all?" Kishi whispered.

"That is all for now." Izanagi bowed his head to the goddess of childbirth.

"Thank you, Kishi-Mojin." Amaterasu watched as the woman left, then turned to look at Izanagi, "I shall retire for now. I will check in on my little youkai-kami child when she is born."

"As you wish, Amaterasu." He watched as she left, a small smile on her face.
