Isn't that how the saying went? And for so long, she, Kagome Higurashi had believed it. That love that was strong enough, could and would conquer anything. Until she had been forced to swallow the bitter pill of reality. Her dreams of puppy eared children vanishing like smoke in the wind. But the young Miko of the future had refused to let this fact make her bitter and jaded. Instead, she had taken the experience of Inuyasha's conflicted emotions as a well learned lesson, when it came to herself and Kikyo in the end.
