Prologue (Background)

This is a story about Kagome Higurashi and how a car crash changed her life forever.Kagome became an orphan at the age of ten, when her and her parents were driving home.There was a bright light ahead of them and they couldnt see a truck accidentally drive in the wrong lane, towards them.By the time they noticed, it was too late.They both crashed, killing both her parents instantly. Kagome only suffered a concussion and a broken arm.She woke up to see unfamiliar faces surrounding her.Kagome asked them where her parents were and they told her lighty that they died from the crash.Kagome becoming terrified and in shock,ran out the hospital, into a dark alley.An Inuyoukai walked by and noticed Kagome. He approached her, telling her he wouldn't hurt her. At first, Kagome backed away terrified, but she felt that he was actually a kind person and so she allowed him to take her to his house.He asked why she was alone in the alley and Kagome told him why.He felt sorry for her and asked if she wanted to work as a maid at his house and she agreed.
