Prologue

Disclaimer: As always, I do not own InuYasha nor do I make any money from writing fanfiction. Anyway on to the chapter.

                                  “Sesshōmaru come on! We do not need another Dalmation! Are you listening to me Sesshōmaru? Sesshōmaru!" Kagome said. Sesshomaru merely rolled his eyes and continued to drive to Myōga and his wife Shōga's house. Kagome hurmphed and leaned back into the passenger seat as she blew her bangs out of her eyes. Sesshōmaru silently chuckled at Kagome's childish antics. He kept his eyes on the road.

                                  “Yes we do Kagome. Besides, Myōga already has the Dalmations at his house for us so we are going to get them." Sesshōmaru said.

                                  “Wait! Dalmations?! As in more than one, multiple?! Are you insane Sesshōmaru? You are, aren't you?!" Kagome nearly screeched. Sesshōmaru let out an exasperated sigh. He decided to not dignify that question with his answer. Sesshōmaru nearly sighed in relief once he pulled into Myōga's driveway. He turned the ignition of and pulled his keys out. He got out of his car after he unbuckled. Sesshōmaru opened Kagome's door for her and helped her out like a gentleman.

                                  “Just because you are acting like a gentleman Sesshōmaru, does not mean that I forgive you." Kagome said. Sesshōmaru chuckled.

                                  “I guess I will just have to try harder, ne?” Sesshōmaru said. Kagome nodded childishly. Sesshōmaru smiled and chuckled. Sesshōmaru led his lady to Myōga's front door and opened it for her after knocking of course. He was a yōkai not a barbarian. Myōga and his wife and loving mate, Shōga, greeted them.

                                  “So do you have my Dalmation pups?” Sesshōmaru asked.

                                  “Straight to the point as always. Anyway, yes I do Sesshōmaru.” Myōga replied.

                                  “Well, where are they?" Sesshōmaru asked as he raised an eyebrow.

                                  “Follow my Sesshōmaru and you too Kagome." Myōga sighed. He was irritated with Sesshōmaru and his somewhat curt questions. Sesshōmaru and Kagome nodded as they followed Myōga through his nice sized house. They reached the guest bedroom and entered it. Kagome gasped as she caught sight of the litter of twelve Dalmatian pups; she was shocked at the color of their spots. Six pups had blue spots, three had yellow spots, and the last three had orange spots. Her heart melted at the sight of the adorable two month old, sleeping pups. All twelve pups woke up when Sesshōmaru walked to them. Each one blinked their cloudy with sleep, blue eyes as they yawned. Each pup had a slightly different shade of blue eyes than their siblings.

                                   Sesshōmaru was pleased with the pups. “How much do I owe you, Myōga?" Sesshomaru asked.

                                    “For you and Kagome it is free." Myōga smiled.

                                    “Are you sure Myōga? I would feel better if we paid you.” Kagome said.

                                    “Of course I'm sure, Kagome dear. I do not need your money. Consider them gifts if you will." Myōga answered with a smile at Kagome.

                                   “Alright if you say so Myōga." Kagome said as she worried her bottom lip.

Author's Note: Dalmatians with blue, orange, and yellow spots, while rare, do exist. Just letting you know. So anyway, please tell me what you think. Please review also!
