Missing Persons

Cheers rose up as evidence of the relief of the crowd. Their ruler and his general were once again victorious. The two strode through the throngs of people, demon and human alike, who had swarmed the main gates to their Lord’s home in an effort to see them when they arrived. The two reached the gate, Lord Sesshomaru as unaffected and stoic as ever and his brother and general, Inuyasha, awkwardly dipping his head in acknowledgement of those surrounding them. In front of the gates, keeping the crowd at bay was Sesshomaru’s household which consisted of servants, kitchen-helpers, guards, and any who resided in his home.           

 However it seemed that a few key persons from his household were not yet present. The two missing consisted of the two highest ranking demons in his household outside of himself and his brother. His mother and his stewardess were noticeably absent despite the importance of his most recent victory against the North. Even Inuyasha’s eyes clouded in confusion when he realized that his stepmother was not there to greet them. Unsure of what exactly they would find, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha strode through the gates.

A/N: Hey guys, so I have a good reason for not posting, first of all rl... & second I'm going back and rewriting this so that later on in the series things will still make sense and flow well. So review on this new version and tell me what you  think. Also to answer a reviewers' question the child is Kagome not Rin.
