Stop the Sarcasm

“Yeah right.”   Kagome stated with a sarcastic laugh.  “He’s like my own stupid watchdog that I want someone else to adopt.” 

“Uh… okay?”  Rin wasn’t sure how Sesshomaru resembled a watchdog but she’d take it for now.  “Do you want me to come over?”  She asked instead making a shooing noise at her boyfriend when he tried to distract her from the phone. 

“It’s okay.”  Kagome wiped her eyes.  “I just needed to rant to someone.  I’ll let you go now and get changed into something comfortable.” 

“Are you sure?” 

“Yes.  Go entertain Shippo Rin.” Kagome stated with a goodbye.
