“Oh.”  Rin handed him back the remote. 

Growing up, she had quickly learned that when it came to a certain sport it was practically impossible to steal the television from her older brother.  She had let it slide knowing that, he rarely asked to see anything on the T.V. otherwise.  But Kagome hadn’t known that. 

And she just had to pick the game that Japan was playing when pulling the prank hadn’t she? 

“Sesshomaru,” She began addressing her brother with a glare, “as much as I understand where your anger comes from, I don’t think its necessary.”  Her brother glared but she held up a hand. 

“I’m quite sure that had you told her you were watching an important match that day and you would have preferred no interruptions to occur, she would not have done what she did.”  Sesshomaru still glared at her and she sighed. 

“You know what your problem is?”  She began knowing she was about to push it with her next statement.  “You need to just ask her out already.”  Sesshomaru raised a brow at that but Rin plowed on.  “I saw you looking at her during dinner.  Call it a sibling’s intuition or something, but I know your were interested.  You just have to make her see it.” 

“Rin…”  Her brother began his voice growing a little cold, “I will never date Higurashi.  She is an unruly neighbor and my current enemy.  Do not push me on this subject any further.” 

Rin huffed.  “We’ll just see about that, won’t we now?”
