   They have been walking for half of the day under a very unforgiving sun with only a few hours break.  Everybody was about to drop except for the adult Youkai of the group and tempers were starting to flare.  Kagome noticed  that both Shippo and Rin had dozed off on the back of Ah Un. Jaken was walking beside the two headed dragon and was muttering something under his breath... so the little kappa must be getting exhausted also.  InuYasha was leading the way screaming at anyone who slowed down. Sesshoumaru had to go back to the Western Palace for an urgent matter or he would have taken the Hanyou to task about driving the InuTachi so hard. He would remind the hardheaded Hanyou what use would they be if Naraku attacked and they were all exhausted.

  Kagome was walking to the back of the Tachi, that at least gave her a chance to let the facade she always wore to slip.  She reguarded everyone in the Tachi with utter contempt.  She was getting tired of putting on a show of catering to InuYasha when all she wanted to do was slit his throat...Ah, the joy and pleasure she would have when that day finally comes. But first she wanted to confront Naraku and his created underlings....There was much she needed to tear and take from them.

   Humming to herself she toyed with the idea of taking out InuYasha and his clay bitch first, Let Sesshoumaru "lead" for a while... the possibilities were endless really. Smiling brightly at that thought she went back to humming a bit louder. Mirouku looked back at her and smiled. She gave a sweet smile to the monk, looking down bashfully. When he turned back around she raised her head up slowly, a dark look came over her face...

   Yes... the possibilities were endless. Who to maim and mutilate first.....With that thought she wore a dazzling smile and picked up her pace.
