In the moments after the Jewel vanished many things happened at once. Both Kohaku and Kikyo, who had joined them but a short time ago to witness the Arachnid's end, glowed with newly restored life and health. The former Shikon Miko looking as she had fifty years prior, staring with love at a happily stunned Inuyasha. Malice and bitterness gone from Kikyo's aura, once more, as the star-crossed lovers came together in a heated embrace. Sesshomaru knew the winds of change were blowing. Whether they would lead to walls or windmills as the saying went, even he could not guess.
