How Could it Happen

Beginnings 

As Kagome walked through the village, she thought over everything that had happened to her in the past two years. Not only had her freidns and her been able to defeat Naraku, but they had been able to revive almost every good person he had slayed in his quest for the Shikon no Tama, and with the jewel now gone, everything seemed to be perfect. Kagome hd brought back Kikyo, but with Kagome's loss of love for Inuyasha, everything turned out great. Kagome had been able to raise Shippo, and since about six months ago, Rin, in peace in the village, Sango and Miroku visited almost every week, as the slayer village was only two miles away. But one thought kept bugging Kagome, since she had made the wish on the jewel, she had not lost any power, butt had started to gain more. She had not been able to go through the well either. As Kagome kept this thought in the back of her head, she continued walking to Kaede's hut, hoping she would have more ginseng, as both Rin and Shippo had colds and needed warm tea. However, just as Kagome reached Kaede's doorway, Sesshomaru appeared from his light orb in front of Kagome. 

"I wish to speak with you Miko about the care of Rin."

"Oh, of course Sesshomaru-sama, I was just on my way to Kaede's to see if she had ginseng to help Rin get through this cold. You could go back to my home if you wish to see her, she is in her room."

"Hn."

But just as Sesshomaru turned to see his charge, he heard the miko utter what would be a bone chilling scream to any lesser being and turned around quick enough to catch the miko as she plummeted to the ground. As Sesshomaru picked her up to bring into Kaede's hut, he had no idea what was going on or that this was just the beginning.
