Tinsel Tinsel Everywhere

A/N: Prompt: Tinsel

Tinsel was annoying Kagome realized as she made her way to Mori-san’s house.  She was actually surprised when he had offered to help her wrap presents at his apartment but she had decided that it did make sense in the end.  No sense in transporting all those presents more times than necessary.  She plucked another piece of tinsel off her sleeve and sighed as she got rid of it as well.  Really, it was annoying and she swore she was going to tell her mother to stop using that on their own Christmas tree next year.

She found his apartment building easily and climbed out of her car to make her way inside.  It was cold today- colder than she had expected- and she wanted to go inside as fast as she could.  A doormen met her and let her in but stopped her from going up the elevator.

     “Where to?”  He asked.

“Mori-san.” The man raised a questioning eyebrow at her and she scowled back.  Who was he to judge her?

“One moment please.”  Kagome waited as he called upstairs and then hung up the phone.  “Mori-san is coming downstairs to greet you.”  His tone was sly now and his eyes were warmer than before.   Kagome was a little nervous- just what was going on?

A ding sounded and the elevator doors opened to reveal Sesshomaru.  He nodded to the doorman and beckoned Kagome.  She walked towards him and got in the elevator.  As the doors closed, the doorman winked and called out something.

“Make sure you give her flowers!”  Both of the people in the elevator flushed, looked at each other and then moved apart.   Just what was it with everyone thinking this was a date?
