Forgive and Forget

Sesshomaru was waiting inside a dreary looking waiting room as his wife was at her orientation for her pregnancy. He glanced at his watch once again, pulling on his scarf as he sighed when an hour has passed. How long did he have to wait there, she should have came out already. And why wasn’t she texting him, he sent about a dozen text messages asking when will that blasted orientation end, he was getting tired of seeing large pregnant women and hearing crying babies.

He couldn’t do it anymore and he sent a short text saying he will return, and quickly left the place.

A couple hours passed since he returned home, taking a short nap when a large ring woke him up. Blinking sleepily, he noticed that he had several missed calls, and over twenty messages… all from Kagome.

“Damn.” He muttered.

“Do you know how long I have been waiting in there?” Kagome said, staring out of the window and finally breaking the silence.

He could answer that question, he just needed to check the first missed call to see. But he didn’t, knowing that this was the calm before the storm.

“So why didn’t you answer the phone when I was calling?”

“I was asleep, also you didn’t tell me how long that orientation was supposed to last. I sent you a message saying I was leaving.”

“I had no signal in there, how was I suppose to know that you left?”

“It won’t happen again.”

Kagome glared, “It better not, I don’t like waiting.”

Well good thing she wasn’t yelling, but this current mood she was in was even more troublesome. For someone vocal, the silence was deadly.
