A Doting Uncle

“This is one of my favorite parts of Christmas, wrapping presents.” Kagome said, merrily taking out rolls of gift wrap sheets. “I just can’t wait to see their faces when they receive their toys they requested.”

“They would have been content with any type of toy at all.”

“As a good and kind-hearted person I am, I wanted some of their wishes to come true and if it’s within my reach, then I’ll buy it for them, I’m not stingy like you Sesshomaru.”

He scoffed, who was she calling him stingy, he always indulged in her addictive spending habits after all the bills have been paid for. Does he ever complain about what she buys? Okay maybe a little, but he was trying to see reason in her purchases. Why does she even need a knitting kit? She doesn’t know how to knit. Currently that little kit was placed in a box somewhere in the attic collecting dust. If that was her definition of being stingy, then by all means he was stingy.

“Actually I wouldn’t go as far as say you’re stingy about everything, maybe certain things. You did buy Rin that giant doll house for Christmas.”

“She is the only one that does not act either an idiot, a prankster, a hormonal teenager, or a troublemaker.”

Kagome narrowed her eyes, knowing exactly who all those titles belongs to. “Didn’t you tell Inuyasha any children he’ll have would automatically be an idiot and wasted space?”

“You’re forgetting that Kikyo is a factor of her upbringing; that is Inuyasha’s only redeeming decision he had made in a long time, marrying that woman.”

“That’s too cute, I never heard you say anything positive about Inuyasha.” Kagome giggled at the light grimace on her husband’s face.

“This is the only time.”

He swear, if Inuyasha caught any wind of this, he would never hear the end of it.
