Blurry Blizzard

Sesshomaru stared as numerous drops of snow fluttered airy around outside, forcing nearly everybody to wait inside as there was an unexpected blizzard which buried everything in sight. Good thing he was in the comforts of his own home with the heater turned on to its highest potential and thick socks covered his cold feet.

“Doesn’t it look beautiful out there, all those snowflakes.” Kagome sighed merrily, not giving much thought that a full-blown storm was brewing. “We need to go out there when it’s done.”

“We’re not children, we don’t play in the snow.”

“Sesshomaru…” Kagome pouted, hearing the nonchalant undertone of his voice. “are you still mad about yesterday.”

“No, that is in the past and I’m over it.” Not. Sesshomaru was still upset, he was falling asleep at his job and hardly got any work done. Several cups of black coffee did not help at all, it just made him more irritable.

“Then why are you acting grumpy?”

“You’re thinking absurd thoughts, it would be troublesome if you were to fall and break your wrist like last time.”

“That’s not gonna happen.”

“You said that last time too and a minute later you slipped and fell.” Maybe his wife was crazy or something, it had worried him terribly when she started crying and her wrist bone was jutting out from her skin. It wasn’t something that he wanted a repeat of. If only he could delude her thoughts from going outside in four feet of snow and slick roads.

“But Sesshomaru…” She whined out. “It would be so nice just to touch pure snow before it disappears and turns slushy.”

“I don’t care, you could watch from inside.”

Kagome pout grew even more, and just stared at the strong storm of snowflakes. “Babe, I think you’re restricting my fun because you’re still mad from yesterday.”

Sesshomaru ignored her.
