Nodding, Akahito turned, showing Sesshomaru he wasn’t afraid to show his back to him, snubbing him silently, informing Sesshomaru that he was no threat at all.

“If you run, I will hunt you down,” warned Sesshomaru softly.

Akahito waved his hand over his shoulder nonchalantly, but as he moved into another room, he passed a mirror. Looking at his reflection, he stiffened, taking a deeper look at himself. He could not recognize the man he had become.
