Sesshoumaru's introduction to the modern era: Halloween by *~*Missy*~*

IV: Eerie

They sat outside for a while after they finished their tea.   Kagome was looking at the moon, which held an eerie orange color to it, just what she was expect out of Halloween. They eventually went inside and much to her mother's dismay, they both went up to her bedroom.  

For a while they just laid there, looking at each other.  Sesshomaru had finally taken off his armor and was running a clawed hand up and down her arm softly, raising the hairs there.   She smiled at him, completely happy in this moment, enjoying the serenity that they were able to have without anyone else around.

"Why is called Halloween?"  Sesshomaru asked in his inquisitive nature, wanting to know everything he could about topics he was not already informed about.

"Its named after All Hallows Eve, a holiday of the Roman Catholic Church.  It was said this was the day in which spirits could return and walk the Earth.  That replaced the festival of Samhain, which was celebrated in the Dark Ages.  But Halloween is the shortened form of all hallows eve."  Kagome said as she looked at him.  

"Interesting."  Sesshomaru said as he pulled her to him, settling in to go to sleep.  Kagome took the hint and was perfectly fine with this.
