Disclaimer: I could only ever hope to some day be the amazing creator of something as beloved as Inuyasha.
Sadly I am to only be a rabid fan girl. :(

Kagome sat on the side of the bed, pondering if what she was about to do would hold any negative repercussions.
She knew she shouldn't, snooping threw things was something that only insecure people would do. On the other hand he shouldn’t of left it out in the open like that.
“I mean come on, really? It is just sitting there taunting me with its straight lines and shinny dials and stuff.” She muttered in her head fingers itching to just touch the stupid thing.
To be honest with herself she never even knew it was in the house. If she had, she would of drove herself mad ages ago just pondering what was inside.
Glancing around quickly to make sure the coast was clear, she reached out and touched the cool metal noticing that it turned slightly but otherwise remained stationary.
“Screw it, he’s not home. He’ll never even know!” exclaiming to her self as a way to finally do the deed. After a few more minutes of internal pep talking she held her breath and turned the handle, but nothing happened.
Releasing her breath in a hiss she studied the box some more, noticing the numbered dial just below the handle she took a leap of fate inputing his birthday.
She heard the lock give way!
Crying out in excitement she thought to herself ‘your birthday? You have to be smarter then that.”
Slowly she opened the door screwing her eyes shut in the process, a little worried that something would be jumping out. The man did have a warped scenes of humor after all.
Cracking open her eye, her jaw dropped open in disbelief. All that time and effort! For absolutely jack shit. The stupid safe was empty! Huffing to herself she slammed the door closed, making sure to spin the lock in the process.
Turning abruptly on her heel just to stop dead in her tracks.
Leaning a shoulder on the door frame, was Sesshoumaru. His eyes danced with mirth and a smirk on his lips. Crossing his arms he nonchalantly asked
“find anything of interest?”
Kagome’s scream of ire could be heard down the block.
