Chapter 17: Infamous Words

“I want you to stay away from that boy.” Satori said after picking up Sesshomaru from school, who recounted his day to her and Inuyasha’s antics.

“Why, mama?” She inwardly groaned at her five-year-old son question. Young children always ask the infamous ‘why’ whenever something lures their curiosity out. She didn’t want the boy to get involved in the matter of adults. Seeing that boy reminded her too much of Sesshomaru’s father’s actions. So she simply replied with a rather overused response a parent says to their child when they don’t feel like divulging their reasoning.

“Because I said so.”
