Pink Pajamas

Inuyasha would never understand.

(Flashback)

"Again!" Inuyasha yelled insanly loud.

"Yes, Inuyasha!" I didn't want to explain more than I had to go home.

"Why?"

"I've got a doctor's visit, Inuyasha. I have to go." Why can't he just back off!?

"Oh. Can I come with you?" I guess he understood what a doctor's visit was.

"It's better if you just stay here, Inuyasha."

"The miko's right, Inuyasha." Sesshomaru got up and looked at us. "The village's only defense they trust is you, however if you are worried I'll go with her."

It was the normal story since the to groups joined. Inuyasha got angry, the two fought over who was right, Sesshomaru won.

(End Flashbck)

Now I'm climbing out my side of the well with the great taiyuokai of the West at my back. "Grandpa!" I called out to make sure he wouldn't appear out of no where when Sesshomaru got out of the well. "Okay it's all clear." I turned to see Sesshomaru had already came up. And was standing at my back.

"Your world is odd, Miko. So many noises." I felt like laughing.

"Well got to get to the main building." I picked up my bag and headed for the door, Sesshomaru followed until I opened the door. "What's wrong?"

"There is a strong sickness in someone there." He looked at me. "Is that why you had to come back, Miko?" I couldn't take it anymore. I ran out, leaving him at the door. I ran through the house to get to my room, where I finally stopped and fell on to my bed.  I laid there for a few minutes before a noise came through the door.

"Miko."

"Kagome," Souta opened my door to reveal him and Sesshomaru behind it. I quickly wiped my face and wondered, 'Since when did I care about my appearence around Sesshomaru?'

"Yeah, Souta?"

"You know this guy?"

"Yes. Thanks, Souta." Souta walked away, leaving Sesshomaru at my door.

"He's very odd." Sesshomaru turned back towards me. He stepped in and sat on my bed. "When do we visit this doctor?"

"Soon." I put on a smile for the conversation we couldn't avoid. "So until then we need to find you a spot to sleep." I got up to get my pajamas while I spoke. "You can stay in here if you like, but the bed's mine. Inuyasha always sleeps in Gosinboku, calming they have a relationship."

"I will stay in here, Miko."

"Okay, I'll take a shower and be right back out. Make yourself comfortable." I quickly hid in my bathroom before he saw my face cover in a blush. 'Did he just say he wouldn't leave my room at night?'

I quickly took my shower, making sure to get all the Fuedal Era stink off me. When I got out I quickly got into my pink, snowman-covered pajamas. Walking into my room, I stopped for a second. Sesshomaru was gone.

"Uhh. I thought he said he'd stay in here?" Then I looked at a white dog next to my bed that had lifted it's head up. Funny thing was he had all the same markings as Sesshomaru's beast. Wait a second! "Sesshomaru?" The dog nodded. "Okay. Well bed time. Goodnight, sweet dreams."

With that I climbed under the covers of my bed and turned out the lamp. That would've been it for the night if I didn't feel the dog climb in to sleep on top of my feet. I didn't feel like fighting him so I just went to sleep. For the first time since entering the Fuedal Era I didn't have a nightmare.
