Unexpected Visitor

A/N: Couldn't think of a title lol! Anyways I want to give thanks to everybody who reviewed! I'm glad people are enjoying this story, I thought it wouldn't garner this much attention. Each chapter will be 250 words long! Enjoy this chapter. :)

Chapter 5: Unexpected Visitor

Later that night, his doorbell rang.

Getting up from his couch, he went to answer the door, a bit perplex on who might be visiting him at this time. Since the door didn’t have a peephole he was surprised to see Rin standing at his doorstep, a big goofy smile on her face.

“Rin, what are you doing here?”

She peeked inside, and gave him a big-eyed, innocent stare. “You gonna let your poor sister in, or you gonna treat me like a stranger and have me talk to you out here?”

A heavy sigh escaped his mouth and he moved to the side, opening the door wider for the young woman to enter the room. He went to the kitchen to get the young woman her favorite beverage as she started taking her shoes off and plotting herself on the couch, humming a tune from her childhood.

Returning back, he patiently waited for the young woman to speak, but his brow ticked when the seconds passed without a single word coming from her lips.

“Do you have a date for my wedding?”

Sesshomaru sighed, he should have known she would ask. “I don’t need one.”

“Yes you do! How about I set you up with one of my friends?”

“You’re friends are young.”

“But they’re legal, you’re not gonna be dating a high-schooler, C’mon Sesshomaru! It’ll be fun!” Rin said with a pout on her lips.

A shake of his head and he gave in, causing Rin to giggle.
