Chapter 22: Mr. Persistent

Koga needed a plan, a good one that would surprise Kagome and win her back without so much of a peep from her. He needed to go on the offense with her; if he waited too long, she would definitely be out of his arms and into someone else’s. He could not tolerate that, not one bit.

But where to strike, he planned on going to her workplace but knew she would call security the instant he place his hands on her or become too insistent, forgoing her rejection. He couldn’t let her have any say, because once she opened her sweet mouth, it would be over for him. She was attack his self-esteem, wear down his confidence and utterly devastate him with a couple words. He couldn’t let that happened.   

He needed more information however, something that would give him an edge and give him the advantage over her. But what? He didn’t know anybody that would grant him an access to Kagome’s private life as he didn’t have that knowledge anymore since she dumped him. Many people who work for her are loyal employees,  he wouldn’t get anything from them.

Then, an idea struck him and he let a smirk grace his ruggedly handsome looks. Her CMO, a man named Azuma. She used to rant about that bitter elderly man who was discontent when her grandfather passed her the reigns of the company to retire. Azuma could be his ally.

Soon, Kagome was going to be his again.
