Chapter 15: The Vagabond

She found it hard to believe that the receptionist didn’t know who Sesshomaru was, after all, everywhere he went, he had a thousand miles trail of admirers. Most likely the woman thought she was competition or something from the way she kept glancing at her with hostility from her desk after rudely pointing towards the chairs to wait. If she could give a guess, she would probably be stuck sitting here all day and there was the possibility that Sesshomaru won’t walk out through the front, most likely there was an employee’s exit near the back.

She just needed an opportunity when the woman wasn’t constantly looking in her direction and the guards would be highly busy with a scene.

Rin couldn’t believe her luck when a hobo came in, screaming about Akimitsu Higurashi’s unfairness towards him and his viciousness that led him unable to get a job elsewhere or something of that sort, inside was crowded so she wasn’t able to hear what was being said. With the attention diverted, she crept passed the desk towards the elevators, hiding between two men.

Once inside, she released her breath, now safe inside the small, cubicle space. Now she must find Sesshomaru in this building. She gave a sigh, that would take forever, but visiting him at his house wouldn’t do her any good since he wouldn’t open the door. And calling him was futile. She hoped she would see him soon, she didn’t want to spend her entire day here.
