Chapter 14: A Visitor

“Sesshomaru, I already said sorry like a thousand times, can you answer your phone now?” It was Monday morning and Rin left another voicemail to her brother’s phone. She have thought he was going to call her shortly after the date or visit her the next day, but he didn’t. It left her anxious, he was giving her the cold shoulder, something he only did to Inuyasha. It must have been a big deal if he was doing that to her.

A gust of dry wind blew past her, fluttering with her hair, tangling it even more than before as she walked down the busy sidewalks, heading towards Higurai. If he wasn’t about to answer his phone, then she might as well confront him about it. Though there was the possibility that he would still ignore her and her trip to his workplace would probably make the situation worse, but she had to try nevertheless. Arriving, she gaped at the tall building, thinking that it would take a while to find Sesshomaru; he could be on any floor.

Entering through the revolving door, she saw men and women in business attires, feeling out of place with her sweatpants, dirty sneakers, and tank top. Looking around for the receptionist’s desk, it took a good minute to find it through the crowd of people.

“Excuse me, I’m looking for Sesshomaru Taisho.” She politely said, a smile on her face.

The woman gave her a once over. “Who?”

“He’s a maintenance worker here.”
