A/N: This story is made specifically for Stella's Soundtrack Challenge. Each drabble will be exactly three hundred words long and will most likely be update every day if possible. Anyways enjoy and tell me what you think. There might be some grammatical errors so forgive me.

Murphy's Law
She didn’t ask to be placed in this situation, it just happened.
A bit annoyed, but immensely terrified at the circumstances, she hid behind in a pile of hay stacks, praying to the gods they wouldn’t find her here.
She had to curse her terrible luck.
The day started normal enough, she traveled around and came across this idyllic village surrounded by vast fields. A vibe told her to bypass it, but her legs were aching and her stomach had the worst timing, growling like a beast.
Coming to a decision to rest, she wandered into the village.
Sure the villagers were friendly enough, however it seemed forced as if their life has been sucked out of them and they were merely puppets playing their parts.
Again, she didn’t give much thought to that and sought an inn for a hearty meal and a good nap.
After her relaxation, she went to the healer’s hut —the village didn’t have a priestess, and not once did anyone sustained an injury.
It was rather odd, since the place looked to be surrounded by farmlands and she expected at least one farmer to come with some sort of accident. But none came, and again she didn’t pay much mind, she thought they were being pretty careful with themselves and their tools.
The hours passed by and night has fallen, and with a shrug she returned to the cozy inn, to her room and slept once more as exhaustion crept in.
It was during the witching hour that something woke her up, something eerie and most horrifying. A shrilled scream echoed from outside the inn, near her room.
It scared her and paralyzed her to her bed.
Maybe I should get up and see.
But once she left her room, she wished she didn’t.
