First Encounter

1st Chapter First Encounter

Kagome was back from the feudal era to get some supplies again. ‘Shippo would want his candy soon’ she smiled. Kagome came to a halt in front of her house. ‘What was this feeling? Is there someone there?’she thought. She walked all around the shrine and did not sense anything after that. ‘Hmmm, I wonder what that feeling was,’ she thought.

Leaves were falling from the cherry blossom tree.  She searched and strained as she felt a presence again. ‘I know someone is there but I cannot see them hmm.’  She touched the tree and waited for a reaction. She felt a sharp electrical shock pulse through here. She turned, surprised and went inside.

On the other side of the well, Sesshomaru did not know why he had come to this well in the middle of the woods. He examined it and felt a presence but could not find anyone. Walking over to the sacred tree he sat down to think. A shock of electricity went through his whole body.  He could not place what the feeling was. He was pulled out of his own musings by his half-brother.

“Hey Bastard what are you doing here” Inuyasha was walking with his Tessiga in his hand.

Sesshomaru turned and smirked “What do you want you half demon”?

“I will kill you if you touch my woman” screamed Inuyasha.

Inuyasha had recently been brought back to life by a girl named Kagome.  He was not in love her because he was in love with Kikyo but kept her around and did love her in his own way.

With a lifted eyebrow “I am not here about a woman”... ‘was he’, he thought.  

“Master! Lord Sesshomaru  ... please don’t leave your Jaken. Why are …”

 Jaken was cut of mid-sentence when Sesshomaru turned to his servant and smiled.  Jaken knelt in front of Sesshomaru “Oh master, Im sorry be kind I mm- meant I will follow you everywhere and anywhere.”

Inuyasha was watching as that damn imp was making a fool of hisself. He could not care less about the little demon. Inuyasha felt the wells magic pulse and ran towards his half-brother “I don't have to take this die you bastard iron reaver soul stealer”. Inuyasha was going to fight Sesshomaru for being near this well. ‘This is their well, that cold hearted bastard would and should not be near it’ he thought.

Sesshomaru just side stepped the attack and turned on Inuyasha. His claws dug into the half breeds shoulder.  “Why do you attack this sesshomaru?”

“Ka”, escaped inuyasha’s lips as he got thrown into the sacred tree. He slumped to the ground and the DaiYouki approached.  He did not know why he was here. He was irritated and now pissed because his idiot half-brother wanted to fight. He smirked to himself ‘I will kill him than’.

“Hmmm. Ma, Souta I'm off to the futaul era”. Kagome was packing up her backpack and making sure that she did not forget any of her friend’s gifts.  She was half way down the stairs when she remembered her text books. She ran up to her room and sighed. None of her text books would fit inside the now stuffed full book bag.

 “Sis, do you have to go alone? Why are you the only one” Souta whined?

Kagome walked down the steps to see her little brother pouting by the door. “I don't know, maybe I'll bring you someday”. She gave him a hand pat on the head and walked past him towards the kitchen.

Souta was right on her heels. He was so surprised and excited “Really sis when, when”?  

Kagome turned towards her baby brother “I don't know my favorite little brother”.

Kagome said goodbye to her family and took hold of her backpack. She almost fell over it was so heavy. Kagome walked towards the sacred tree. Blossoms were falling off faster than usual, like something was changing the tree.  She walked away wondering what could have happened. As she approached the well she felt a pain go through her body again, then it vanished. She shook it off and jumped into the well.   On her way through the well Kagome kept having a feeling she could not place and shook it off and thought of her friends and kit. ‘I hope Shippo likes his candy I got him’.

Loud screams could be heard from above; she could tell Inuyasha was yelling at someone again. ‘Ugh, not again’ she thought. Kagome started to climb the vines to the top of the well. She felt a tingle go through her body as paused.

Sesshomaru was throwing Inuyasha off and froze, ‘that smell’. Someone had enter the clearing ‘where, where’?  Sesshomaru was still blocking assaults from Inuyasha and sniffing out the scent. A shiver went up his whole body and he turned towards the well. A shiver went through his body “was this feeling pain’ he thought? He was brought back to when he heard his brother scream.

Inuyasha was watching Sesshomaru from the moment Kagome came back from her time. He did not notice the emotions plaguing the Lord’s face. He just knew that Sesshomaru could not have anything to do with his wench. Inuyasha ran towards the well “Kagome stay down stupid”.

“Inuyasha” Came a voice from the well?

Kagome started climbing the vines of the well again shaking off the weird feeling. ‘Tell me to stay down that dog’ she was thinking as she came to the top of the well. She stood and gasped at the sight of Inuyasha trying to fight a gorgeous man with silver hair. That man was just dodging Inuyasha’s attacks and didn’t seem to break a sweat. Inuyasha just kept running at him trying to hack him to pieces. She had never seen a demon move so quickly and with grace.  She was lost in thought again ‘He is gorgeous, what  I’m I thinking getting all hot and bothered over a demon that was trying to kill inuyasha’? But, now that she looked he just seemed to be playing with Inuyasha then she relaxed and smiled.

Sesshomaru noticed the girl sitting on the well that was right behind him. She was staring at him and him at her. He could not remember ever seeing a woman dressed as she was. At further inspection she looked like a human miko and she smelled of arousal.  He swiveled his head and looked at her again ‘Hn’.  Just as his brother yelled “wind scar” and it went right for her. She jumped down into the well and grabbed the vine and cut her hand and waited to fall to the bottom when she stopped. Big arms caught her. Sesshomaru ran towards the girl without a thought when he smelt her blood and stop her from falling in the well.  He was shocked to smell the anger rolling off of her aura.

 Kagome was in pain and snapped her head towards Sesshomaru “Inuyasha, how could you try and kill me”? Kagome lost all words when she looked up and saw yellow amber eyes as penetrating as the sun looking at her. There was no emotion except a little spark of confusion in those eyes.  She was lost in her thoughts ‘The man had caught me, why’?

Sesshomaru had no reason to help this human and he was confused. He knew this human to be a pack mate of his brothers. Then red seem to seep in his color of his eyes and he let out a growl “Inuyasha how could you aim at your pack mate”?

“Kah, she was in the way. Now let go of the wench” inuyasha was holding Tessigia at the ready.

Sesshomaru pulled Kagome up and out of the well. The whole time he did not take his eyes off her. She was watching him as well there eyes did not move. He finally broke eye contact and put her down.

Kagome blushed “thank you”.

Sesshomaru tilted his head and watched the human blush and smirked “I’m going to let you go be careful with my half demon brother Miko”. Sesshomaru then floated off on his cloud.  He did not know what had drawn him to that place but, he forgot that while he watched the Miko approach his brother with anger. A smile spread across his lips.
