Slayer of Un-Demon Crack: Sango's Mercenary by *~*Missy*~*
Of Words, Emotions, and other Valient Things
Sango was so happy when Bankotsu had led her away that she really hadn’t paid much attention to the music as she was pulled out onto the floor. But now that he spun her around and straight into his arms, she was realizing what this music was, it was latin dance, a tango if she knew her dances right. Sango believed that fighting was much like dancing, her father had taught her to dance not long before her village was slain, the thought brought back sad memories.
“I thought you could use an escape, doll.” Bankotsu said with a sexy smirk, he could tell something was bothering her, there was a soft sadness to her features and he wanted to snap her out of that, why he didn’t exactly know, but he knew that he needed to do it.
“I certainly could, but how could you be sure that I wouldn’t make a fool out of you out here?” Sango asked with a smile.
“I’ve seen the way you fight.” Bankotsu chuckled as he pressed her to his chest suddenly as the music picked up. “I know that you can dance.”
“It does happen to be true.” Sango smirked as she slid down to the floor and then back up as the broke into a smoldering dance. The two’s eyes never left each other and she felt slightly guilty about what she had done to Miroku.
“Don’t think about him.” Bankotsu’s voice was soft as he turned her chin so that she once again looked into his icy blue depths. “He doesn’t think about you.”
“He means well…” Sango trailed off, finding herself quite hypnotized.
“No he doesn’t Sango.” He was quite serious. “He doesn’t mean well and he takes you for granted. I’ve seen the way he acts around you. It’s like he doesn’t consider your feelings at all. Like you aren’t there. Like you don’t exist and like it doesn’t kill you every time you watch him with someone else.” Bankotsu dipped her and slowly brought her back up, cradling the back of her head. “You are here with me now, Sango. Remember that, forget about him.” Bankotsu said as he pulled her closer to him.
Sango gasped slightly, she felt herself entranced by his siren song. She could not believe the words that came out of his mouth and it made a near uncontrollable urge pass over her body, she wanted to kiss him. She wanted him to do more. A blush quickly formed on her face at this thought.
“What are you blushing about?” He asked as a seductive smile quirked at the edge of his mouth.
“Nothing of consequence…” Sango mumbled as she looked down. The dance ended and they did the customary bow to each other. It was then that Sango excused herself and rushed out to the garden. She needed to get some air after this.

Kagome found her friend out in the garden after she had pulled away from her mate, not an easy task mind you, she saw Sango looking flushed and walked over and lightly grabbed her arm.
“Sango! What are you doing?” Kagome wasn’t trying to sound mean but she just wanted to know what was going on with the woman whom she felt was her sister.
“I-I don’t know. Miroku has just been so terrible and I have been so upset. Bankoutsu found me and we started talking and just…” Sango sighed. “Then he came to my rescue after Miroku was dancing with me yet just checking out other demonesses while he did so and I am so tired of being ignored Kagome. I deserve to be with a guy who treats me like I am his world. Like you and Sesshoumaru.” Sango sighed softly.
“And Bankoutsu will do that for you? You barely know him Sango.”
“Yes…No….Maybe? I don’t really know what’s going on between us, but certainly if he kisses me I am quite sure that I won’t slap him or resist. I want to be made to feel like a woman, Miroku obviously isn’t interested enough in me to stop his lecherous ways.” Sango shook her head, she felt light-headed.
“Sango I am sure that is not the case between you two.” Kagome said, her eyes were soft and apologetic and Sango just couldn’t take the pity in her eyes.
“Kagome, I’m sorry I just cannot do this right now. I am going for a walk.” Sango said before she stalked off into the dark.
