'Oh crap.' Thought the girl… Excuse me, young lady, whose name was shouted loud enough to startle the birds.

She got out of the hot spring and dried herself quickly, then put on her haori and hakama for the day. Thankfully the enraged hanyou didn't burst through the trees until she was putting on her sandals.

"What is this?" Asked the red-faced half demon.

'Damn, he must have hit Shippo to get it.' She thought

"Nothing InuYasha, but how did you get that off of Shippo?" She lied then inquired.

"That is what this one would like to know as well." Came a cold voice from the shadows, moments before Sesshomaru, Lord of the West, Dog Demon, and Inuyasha's half brother appeared.

"Don't worry about it; just explain to me how Shippo got a protection bracelet, one with YOUR hair!" Shouted InuYasha, shaking said bracelet in his brother's face.

'Here we go,' thought Kagome. She looked to Sesshomaru and caught the little nod of his head. 'I better get to the others quick.'

Kagome ran to the clearing where the Inu-tachi had made camp.

"Kagome!" shouted Miroku and Sango.

She looked around for Shippo and swiftly picked him up.

"Are you ok?" she inquired.

"Yes mama, is it time?" he asked softly.

Kagome didn't respond but looked to the trees, sure enough InuYasha burst into the clearing looking more and more pissed off. He made a dash for Kagome who flipped over his head and landed next to Sesshomaru, who had walked in calmly looking at his brother.

"Kagome, what's going on?" asked Sango.

"Um… Well… You see…" Kagome looked down at Shippo who smiled up at her before snuggling into her arms more.

"ImleavingwithSesshomarubecau seheaskedmetobehismate." She blurted out in a rush.

InuYasha looked at his brother, who at the moment was looking at the little miko with a raised eyebrow. Sango and Miroku, who had caught everything looked stunned. Kirara mewed breaking the silence and Miroku started grinning.

Kagome, seeing the grin, blushed a dark red.

"WHAT THE HELL! NO." InuYasha shouted.

"Osuwari." Kagome said softly causing the hanyou to eat dirt.

Sesshomaru wrapped his arm around Kagome's waist and directed her to turn around and leave the clearing. He paused once turning his head to say "Follow if you wish."

"Maybe, we should give them some time to…. Get acquainted?" Miroku asked waggling his eyebrows at Sango.

She sighed and brought Hiraikotsu down on his head rendering him unconscious before placing him on a transformed Kirara's back and following Kagome and Sesshomaru.

'What about me?' thought the hanyou imbedded into the ground.
