If I Only Had a Brain

When she got back to her era, Kagome realized she needed to change. Her grades were terrible, and if she didn’t do anything, there wouldn’t be a future left for her in this time either. She put her best efforts into school, becoming top of her class and soaring above the others in every subject, especially biology.

Biology was perfect for her. She learned the organized patterns and sturdy structures of life, the perfect anchor for the chaos shadowing her broken heart.

‘Turns out, I’m pretty smart when I’m not worried about saving the world,’ she thought to herself.
