Six little words had brought her more pain than she could have ever imagined. Six little words destroyed her hope, stole her happy ending, shattered her optimism, extinguished her shining light. She'd flown too close to paradise, and so he clipped her wings, sending her on a collision course with Earth. Her soul screamed in agony, the pain of the betrayal and loss carving ugly scars on her broken heart.

With six words, he sent her into shock, crushed her spirit, left her helpless with nothing but her broken wings to protect her.

'I'm sorry Kagome, I've chosen Kikyo.'
