Chapter 177: Goad

Once she got over the shock of Buyo dragging Tessaiga down into the tunnel and said sword going crazy for no apparent reason, Kagome decided that Sesshoumaru had been asleep for far too long.

Ignoring the cut on his face and the dried blood on his skin, she began tapping on his cheeks, shaking his shoulders, and doing whatever she could to rouse him to consciousness. She even considered giving him a kiss to wake him from his slumber. But that was probably due to the growing affection she felt for him; the one that was slowly overtaking her heart.
