Chapter 125: For a Price

“I’m sure your girlfriend can speak for herself, Taishou-san.”

Sesshoumaru and Kagome both tensed at the elder’s casual statement. He seemed to not care for their reactions, however, and grinned widely, revealing the gaps between his teeth.

“You can change the clothes, but not the man. I’m afraid you still stick out like a sore thumb.”

Kagome groaned softly. “Cover’s blown…”

“Not necessarily,” Totosai told her. “I’ll keep my lips sealed for a price,” he ignored Sesshoumaru’s caustic snort, “If you would just take this glass bauble–”

“Absolutely not. Please keep that thing away from me.”
