Chapter 123: Foreboding Sign

“Cute!”

Kagome gushed over a collection of cellphone accessories, while Sesshoumaru took in the trinkets with minor interest as he peered at them over her shoulder. Various pieces of jewelry were also displayed on the vendor’s table, ranging from rings to necklaces and bracelets.

“Should I get one?”

Sesshoumaru shrugged before giving the person in charge of the booth a cool glance. “Idling would not be wise.”

A glistening jewel captured Kagome’s attention. It was a clear, amethyst marble, nearly pink in its coloring. The rounded stone sat in the center of a chained necklace, glittering almost innocently.
