Before Kagome could call out the next list in her hand the doors to the ballroom flew open and Kagome glowered at Princess Emi.

Princess Emi shouted, “Why are all the servants here? I was looking for my assigned maid and I see that she is standing up there with you.”

Kikyo looked to Kagome and decided that she better handle this, “The servants are gathered here to receive assignments for the next two weeks. We will assign you anther maid once we are done since Atsuko is to be doing another assignment.”

Princess Emi sneered at Kikyo, “Who are you to decide that another maid will be assigned to me?”

Kagome growled, “She is Lady Kikyo mate-to-be of Prince Inuyasha and you will show her the proper respect! As for your maid you will be assigned anther once we a done just as Lady Kikyo just said. Now I suggest that you leave here your maid will be sent up when we are done.”

Kagome turned dismissing Princess Emi well the princess did not take that to well and launched herself at Kagome for an attack. At the last moment Kagome threw up a barrier that sent Emi flying into the wall.

Kagome turned on her, “You dare to attack the future Lady of the West! I should kill you right now! It seems as if you are on a crusade to destroy everything simply because you cannot have what you want! You are acting like a spoiled child instead of a Lady which is what you are supposed to be!”

Princess Emi growled as she made her way to her feet but before she could attack again Touga, Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and Emi’s father Atsushi entered surveying the scene.
