When they entered the gardens Rin and Shippo ran off laughing happily.  Kagome and Sesshomaru sat under a cherry blossom tree to watch the children play.

Kagome tilted her head back to look at Sesshomaru, “Who was that woman and why is she here?”

Sesshomaru sighed he was not looking forward to this conversation. “Her name is Princess Emi she is the youngest daughter of Lord Atsushi a minor lord in our lands. As for why they are here is because they were hoping that either Inuyasha or I would take her as a mate. They were not happy when they found out that we both already had an intended mate.”

Kagome scowled at that, “I suppose I will have to watch my back and keep a close eye on the children. That is until she leaves at least.”

Sesshomaru nodded his agreement and after a few moments they saw Inuyasha come running out of the palace with a panicky look on his face. He immedatly darted over to them skidding to a stop an inch from Sesshomaru’s left leg.

He locked eyes with Kagome, “I need your help I told Kikyo the situation and now she wants to go after Princess Emi.”

Kagome’s eyes widened and she jumped from her seat between Sesshomaru’s legs. “Go find a Miltonia Orchid make sure it is more pink then red! Bring it to her room as soon as you find it! Sesshomaru can you watch Rin and Shippo?”

Sesshomaru nodded his agreement and watched as Inuyasha sped off in one direction and Kagome headed for Kikyo’s bed chambers.
