That night after dinner Kagome asked Sesshomaru to join her for a walk through the gardens. They simply walked in silence for a while admiring the stars and garden.

Sesshomaru could tell that something was bothering Kagome so he spoke first, “What is on your mind Kagome?”

Kagome blushed deeply, “I was wondering if you had thought about us mating?”

Sesshomaru sighed, “Yes I have been giving it thought and I have come to my decision as well.”

Kagome looked at him with wide eyes she was frozen in place like a bucket of ice had been dropped on her.

Sesshomaru looked into her eyes, “If you would allow it I would take you as my life mate Kagome.”

Kagome gasped in shock tears flowing, “Really Sesshomaru!”

Sesshomaru smirked nodding his head, “Yes really Kagome you have broken the curse that was placed on me.”

Kagome’s eyes widened in shock and she threw her arms around him, “Yes Sesshomaru I want to become your mate!”

Sesshomaru smirked and placed a kiss on her plump lips. When he pulled back Kagome’s eyes where glazed over and she was panting for breath.

Sesshomaru smirked again, “We must tell father so that the arrangements can be made.”

Kagome came out of her stupor, “Huh, oh okay.”

Sesshomaru chuckled as he led her down the halls to Touga’s study.

A/N: Again sorry about the delay on this story but yay I have finally gotten it caught back up. My updates may be sporadic at the moment because of us working on our new home. I will most defiantly be updating though.
