They had finally arrived back at the palace and Inuyasha and Kikyo had finally worked out whatever they had been arguing about. That is after Kikyo gave Inuyasha a small injury when he would not back off and leave her alone. She felt guilt after that and they had not fought since. Before they even entered the palace a small red blur and a small black blur attached themselves to Kagome. Lucky for her Sesshomaru was standing behind her so she did not fall over.

Kagome wrapped her arms around the children, “I missed you two so much!”

Both children answered with the same then launched into telling her everything that has happened since she left.

Kagome giggled, “Slow down you two I cannot understand when both of you are talking at the same time.”

Sesshomaru spoke before another word could be said, “Perhaps we should go inside before they tell you what happened.”

Kagome nodded in agreement, “Yeah and I would like to bathe, change, and eat something. You two can join me and tell me about everything.”

Rin and Shippo cheered happily and rushed back inside. The adults simply laughed and followed after them. Kagome and Kikyo went to the spring while the males went to Touga’s study to catch up on paperwork.
