The study doors were opened for them but Sesshomaru stopped before entering and turned to Kagome.

He prepared himself for her to be angry before he spoke, “Perhaps you should go to the tea room with Lady Ai Kagome.”

Kagome looked at him in confusion, “Why can’t I come in as well Sesshomaru?”

He cupped her cheek, “You may not like the punishment they hand down Kagome.”

Kagome sighed, “Very well Sesshomaru I trust you and I know you will not let it be too bad.”

With that Kagome turned from him and headed for the tea room. Sesshomaru turned and entered the study.

Before she could open the tea room door it flew open with her name squealed in a female voice and two bodies colliding with her. “Oh Kagome we were so worried!”

Kagome patted Ai and Kikyo on the back, “I am fine guys everything went just as I told you it would.”

Kikyo set up first, “So he returned you here?”

Kagome nodded an affirmative.

Ai gasped, “Is he still here or is he gone.”

Kagome sighed, “He is still here they are in the study now deciding his punishment.”

Once they had calmed down all Ai and Kikyo returned to their seats and Kagome took hers.

Kagome smiled brightly, “So what happened while I was gone?”

Ai blushed deeply, “Kazuo gave me his first courtship gift.”

Kagome’s eyes widened, “Well what was it?”

Ai pulled out a golden compass, “It is a compass he just gave it to me a few minutes ago. Kikyo and I were contemplating using it to find you.”

Kagome looked at them in confusion, “How would you do that?”

Ai smiled once more, “It is not a regular compass it points to what your heart desires most. When he gave it to me my hearts one desire was to find you.”

Kagome smiled through her tears and jumped from her seat encompassing Ai in a hug once more.
