Kagome approached Sesshomaru very slowly once she stood in front of him she submitted to him. Sesshomaru bent and sniffed at her neck never taking his eyes off of Aki. After reassuring himself that she was fine and no harm had come to her he gave her neck a lick to accept her submission. Once she gained his approval she stood tall once more.
Kagome reached up and placed her hands on each side of his face and pulled his focus to her, “Sesshomaru it is okay now everything has been taken care of. Please come back to me.”
Aki watched them curiously he had heard rumors of the heir to the Western lands anger when something he cherished was taken from him. He found it strange as he stood there watching the red fade from Sesshomaru’s eyes that it would be a small human miko that would be able to calm him so easily.
Kagome gave Sesshomaru a soft smile, “There we go are you calm now?”
Sesshomaru simply gave an “HN” as his response and returned his attention to Aki.
Kagome took Sesshomaru’s hand and led him over to Aki, “Sesshomaru this is Aki he is a shadow fox.”
Aki bowed at the waist, “It is a pleasure to meet you Sesshomaru-sama I am sorry for taking Kagome. She just reminded me of my beloved Midoriko so much that I was sure she had come back. However, Kagome has made it very clear that she is not Midoriko and I can see now that she is not as well.”
Sesshomaru spoke coldly, “That maybe so Aki but you must speak with Lord Touga and Lord Jun about what you have done. They will decide what to do from there.”
Aki nodded his understanding and followed Sesshomaru into the palace.
A/N: Sorry I have been MIA for so long but I just bought a new home and have been it the process of getting it ready to be moved into. I have also been helping a family member whose car broke down. I will try to get this caught up tonight.
