Ai gave Kagome a comforting pat on the shoulder, “Do not worry Kagome, Sesshomaru would never let that happen!”

Kagome sighed but nodded in agreement then scrunched up her nose, “What is that smell?”

Ai huffed, “It smells like something rotten.”

Kagome screamed in horror when she saw Ai’s eyes glaze over and she fell onto her side unconscious. Kagome quickly looked for Kazuo only to see he was in the same position as Ai.

A male voice called out, “Do not worry love they will be fine as will you.”

Kagome began to feel lightheaded and the last thing she saw was a man emerge from the shadows in the room before she fell unconscious just like the others.

Ai came to an hour later and began to panic, “Where’s Kagome!”

She looked for Kazuo and saw him sitting up and rushed over to him.

Helping him but still in a panic she asked, “Kazuo what happened?”

He groaned, “I have no idea the last thing I remember is smelling a rotten stench.”

Ai looked in his eyes fear shining brightly in hers, “Kagome is gone!”

Kazuo quickly looked to the cushion where he last saw Kagome, “We must tell Sesshomaru and the others quickly!”

He regained his footing and the both went to find Sesshomaru. They found him in the study with Lord Jin and Lord Touga all of whom had just gained consciousness.

Sesshomaru looked to them when they entered, “Where is Kagome?”

Ai’s eyes filled with tears, “She’s gone!”

Sesshomaru’s eyes bleed red and he roared his anger for all to hear.
