Kagome heard what her sister was saying and took a deep breath blocking all that was around her out she looked deep within herself. She could feel it there just below the surface fluttering around like a caged humming bird. As she pulled on it it began to unravel unknown to her she was glowing a light blue. Winds as if from a blizzard where whipping her hair around her in a beautiful dance. Finally her eyes snapped up to reveal glowing blue orbs. Anyone looking at her would believe her to be an avenging angel.

She gave Naraku a fierce glare, “I will no longer run in fear from you today will be the end of you forever!”

Naraku could not move he had no idea that she held this much power in her small form. He watched as Kikyo collapsed along with her barrier she had used too much of her power to hold off his constant attacks. As soon as hers feel though another came up to protect Kikyo and Ai. Kagome saw when Kikyo’s barrier went down and there was no way that she was going to let this male that has tormented them for most of their young lives harm either her or Ai.

Kagome stepped from the barrier, “Come Naraku let us finish this.”

Naraku flew at her without another thought Kagome formed a bow and arrow of pure power and began firing arrows at him in rapid succession as she dodged his attacks. Finally after about a half an hour one of her arrows hit its mark purifying Naraku to nothing more than dust the instant that it hit. With him gone Kagome’s powers pulled back in as she collapsed to the ground unconscious. She never saw Kikyo and Ai rush to her fallen form nor did she see when both lords as well as Sesshomaru and Inuyasha came to retrieve them.

Touga looked at the girls, “Kikyo you will be confined to your room until Kagome comes around and then I will think of a suitable punishment for the both of you for disobeying my orders.”
