Sesshomaru awoke to find Kagome staring out the window with a weird look on her face.

He walked over and wrapped his arms around her, “What is it that is bothering you Kagome?”

Kagome sighed, “I thought I felt something spiritual but it is not pure it is so very dark.”

Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes then spread out his senses trying to see if he could feel what she felt. He did not feel anything at the moment but that did not mean that she had not felt it earlier either. He would most defiantly be making sure to keep his senses aware.

Sesshomaru turned back to her, “I do not feel anything at the moment but we all should be keeping on our toes.”

Kagome nodded her head and they both got ready for the day. Everyone was in the dining room when they finally got there. Kagome sat between Kikyo and Sesshomaru the meal went by quietly. Once everyone finished Kagome, Kikyo, and Ai all made their way out to the garden.

Kagome grinned, “So Ai what about that last guy that you danced with last night?”

Ai blushed, “He asked if he could court me.”

Kikyo perked up, “What did you say?”

Ai smiled softly, “I agreed to court him and father gave his permission.”

Kagome squealed in excitement, “That is so great Ai!”

Kagome got quiet very quickly and her head snapped to the left, “Kikyo do you feel that?”

Kikyo was standing right beside Kagome, “Yes I feel it but where is it coming from?”

Kagome sighed as the presence disappeared, “I do not know but I felt the same dark spiritual power earlier this morning too.”
