Kagome and Kikyo had become quick friends with Ai. Kagome liked the fact that she was a sweet and kind girl. Kikyo liked the fact that she was mature and calm. The three were almost connected at the hip. The only time you saw them separated was when Ai was pulled away to dance with one of the males vying for her hand. At that point in time Inuyasha and Sesshomaru would get Kikyo and Kagome for a dance. Ai made her way back over to them after another dance growling the whole time.

Kagome looked at her curiously, “What is wrong Ai?”

Ai huffed, “That idiotic male I just danced with wanted to try some move I have never heard of. In the process of trying said move he hurt my back and now I have a horrible backache.”

Kikyo and Kagome looked at each other and grabbed each of Ai’s hands then headed to the gardens just behind the palace.

Ai looked at the curiously, “Why are we coming into the gardens?”

Kikyo smiled softly, “We do not want our new friend to be in pain on her night.”

Kagome giggled, “Kikyo is going to heal your backache so that you can enjoy the rest of the night.”

Ai’s face lit up like a star, “Oh thank you both so much!”

Kikyo smiled once more, “You are quite welcome Ai. There all finished how does that feel now Ai?”

Ai smiled brightly, “Yes much better.”

They made their way back inside Inuyasha and Sesshomaru watching them closely. Sesshomaru was very happy that the three where getting along.
