Kagome and Sesshomaru entered the room they were to stay in. It appeared that the blush on Kagome’s face would be a permanent mark. Sesshomaru could not contain his smirk at her embarrassment of having to share a room with him.

Sesshomaru cleared his throat, “You may bathe and change first Kagome.”

Kagome gave him a bright smile with a whispered thank you and ducked into the bathing chambers.

It did not take Kagome long to get cleaned up and changed from their long journey. When she exited the bathing chamber Sesshomaru entered. Kagome sat at a low table with a mirror to brush out and style her hair in an elegant up do. By the time Sesshomaru was finished Kagome was ready to meet up with the others and head down for the feast to honor Ai.

Touga called out to them when they entered the hall, “Are you two ready to head down?”

Sesshomaru nodded, “Yes father we are ready.”

Kagome looked around curiously, “Where are Inuyasha and Kikyo?”

Touga chuckled, “I was about to retrieve them after I retrieved to two of you.”

Kagome nodded her head in understanding as they walked a little ways down the hall to the room that held Inuyasha and Kikyo.

Touga knocked and heard Kikyo call out, “Come in.”

Touga gave her a soft smile as they entered, “Are you both ready?”

Kikyo smiled and nodded, “Yes we are.”

After everyone was gathered they made their way downstairs to enjoy the festivities.
