Golden eyes locked on to deep blue eyes and a voice of silk spoke,

"Miko, this Sesshomaru finds that his heart is overflowing with deep love for you and wishes to take you for his Mate if you will permit it to be so."

Kagomes' voice died in her throat and she had a very hard time breathing but managed to respond breathlessly,

"Oh my, Maru I would be honored to be your mate and I love you too with every fiber of my being."

A smile, a true smile graced Sesshomarus' lips as he leaned in and kissed her. Their happiness was not to last though, Red eyed and jealous Inuyasha attacked from behind and Sesshomaru was, for the first time, not fast enough to stop him. Inuyasha ran him thru with his sward and ended up stabbing Kagome in the process. When Sesshomaru fell to the ground dead, and Kagome slumped over him dieing, her last words from her lips to him were,

"Inuyasha what have you done? You could not, or would not love me, yet you have taken the one that did love me away and now you have killed me as well. Know this and remember for all time, I hate you Inuyasha and I shall never forgive you for this ever."

With that Kagome laid down next to the demon that she loved so dearly and allowed the blackness to consume her.
