Her legs felt sluggish and heavy as lead when Rin placed her on the polished table, she couldn’t help her small-size and if she were to demand to walk herself, she had no doubt Sesshomaru would leave her behind, risking her life to the outdoors.

“Oh a little human, how delectable.” The female leaned closer, nostrils flaring when she took her scent in. “Your scent is pleasant, but you’re human. How is that possible?”

“I care for my personal hygiene.” Kagome answered, wary of the claws that crept closer.

“You’re like a treat; does Sesshomaru have plans to eat you for a snack?” Kagome face turned red, mortified at the words, while the woman had a sharp gleam in her eyes. An inaudible growl halted her badgering. “I merely tease you dear; Sesshomaru has no taste for human flesh or organs. But the point is, I have no qualms eating you dear.”

“Enough, do you know of this curse or not.”

“You are not amusing for this poor woman, always so serious just like your mother,” Sesshomaru scratched at the surface, creating deep incisions on the wood. “But, like I said before I have no knowledge about this curse.” Sesshomaru clutched the tiny human, before exiting the hut, leaving behind a crackling wench.
